What Wix is genuinely good at
Wix gets a business online quickly and cheaply, and for a five page site that mostly needs to exist and be findable, that is a reasonable answer. Plenty of local businesses are served fine by it.
It handles hosting, security and updates, so there is no maintenance job. The editor is visual, which means an owner can move things around without learning anything technical.
If you already have one and it works, the honest advice is often to improve it rather than rebuild elsewhere. A working site with better pages beats a new site that took four months.
What it costs you later
You cannot take it with you. There is no clean export of a Wix site to another platform, so moving later means rebuilding the pages. That is the cost that surprises people.
Speed is harder to control, because much of what loads is decided by the platform rather than by whoever built the pages. There is a floor you cannot get under.
And the editor that makes it easy also makes it easy to break the phone layout, because elements get positioned by hand. A page that looks right on a monitor can be a mess on a handset.

If local map results are the real goal, that is a separate job again and it leans on your Google listing more than on the site. Worth reading before you spend anything on the pages.
When moving is worth the disruption
When you need something Wix will not do, when the speed floor is costing you measurably, or when you want to own the thing outright rather than rent it indefinitely.
The disruption is real: pages get rebuilt, addresses change, and every old address needs a redirect to the new one or you lose whatever search position the old pages had.

How to decide without wasting money
Ask what is actually wrong. If the answer is that it looks dated, that is a design job inside Wix. If the answer is that nobody finds it, that is a structure and content job, and the platform is not the problem.
